PRESS RELEASE

 

Brian D. Lamkin, Special Agent in Charge of the Columbia Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI); Reginald I. Lloyd, United States Attorney, District of South Carolina; Chief Robert Stewart, South Carolina Law Enforcement Division; Chief H. Dean Crisp, Columbia Police Department and Sheriff Leon Lott, Richland County Sheriff's Department, announced today the arrest of ten (10) individuals. These arrests were made by the Columbia Violent Gang Task Force pursuant to a complaint filed in Federal Court, alleging that these individuals are involved in a conspiracy to distribute cocaine and crack cocaine, in violation of Title 21, United States Code, Section 846.

The following individuals are in custody at this time:

Travis R. Pinkston, a/k/a "TP", age 25;
Jeffrey Allan Griffin, a/k/a "JJ”, age 19;
Broderick Zaccheus Hiller, age 25;
Raymond Brown, III, a/k/a "Lil Raymond", age 18;
Torrean Antwon Sims, a/k/a "Slim", age 22;
Glenn Matteer, a/k/a "Geez", age 21;
Antwan Maurice Davis, age 24;
Fernanda Rodquis Lee, a/k/a "Hammer", age 34;
Bryan Darnell Riley, a/k/a "Hawk", age 22; and
Javis McKenzie, a/k/a "Jay Rock", age 28.
The following individuals are fugitives at this time:
Cameron Cornelius Hammond, a/k/a "Lil Pappa", age 23;
Timothy Towan Kelly, a/k/a "Big Hurt," a/k/a "Hurt", age 21;
Alexander R. Sims, a/k/a "AZ", age 27;
Jamal G. Canzater, a/k/a "Hood", age 19; and
Richard Edward Norris, a/k/a "Lil Richard", age 20.
Assistance in this investigation was provided by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) and the State Law Enforcement Division (SLED).

A complaint is merely an accusation that a defendant has committed a violation of the federal criminal laws, and every defendant is presumed innocent until, and unless, proven guilty.
