Columbia, South Carolina ---- Acting United States Attorney Kevin F. McDonald stated today that JASON RYAN HENDERSON, age 28, of Columbia, South Carolina, was charged in a one-count Indictment with Possessing an Unregistered Silencer, a violation of Title 26, United States Code, Section 5861(c).

Mr. McDonald stated the maximum penalty HENDERSON could receive is a fine of $10,000 and/or imprisonment of ten (10) years.

Mr. McDonald stated that the case was investigated by agents of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives and the Federal Bureau of Investigation – Joint Terrorism Task Force and that he has assigned the case to Assistant United States Attorney Todd Hagins of the Columbia office for prosecution.

The United States Attorney stated that all charges in this Indictment are merely accusations and that all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
