FLORENCE CRACK DEALER GETS 12 YEARS

 Columbia, South Carolina---- Acting United States Attorney Kevin F. McDonald stated that Joseph Maurice Timmons, age 30, of Florence, was sentenced to 144 months imprisonment by United States District Judge Terry L. Wooten for conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine.

Timmons admitted being part of a drug distribution conspiracy responsible for the distribution of crack and cocaine in the Williamsburg and Florence County areas. Timmons was identified by investigators last November after he sold crack to a confidential informant in Florence.

The case was investigated by the Florence County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI. Assistant United States Attorney A. Bradley Parham of the Florence office prosecuted the case.
